Nadia Lichte: 3 Questions – 3 Facts!
A portrait of the HOLZ-HANDWERK team: Today: Dipl.-Ing. Nadia Lichte, CEO of PROveletrhy s.r.o., international representative of NürnbergMesse in Czech Republic.
“3 Questions – 3 Facts” goes international: We asked our colleagues from our subsidiaries and international representatives three questions. Get to know the people behind HOLZ-HANDWERK.
What do you find particularly exciting about HOLZ-HANDWERK/your work?
HOLZ-HANDWERK is a trade fair with a special charm. After several months of preparation for the event, the reward is exhibition halls smelling of wood, filled with satisfied customers.
Not only at HOLZ-HANDWERK, but ultimately at all trade fairs, the wide range of activities associated with the work is always particularly exciting for an international representative.
What are your favourite tasks in the preparation and follow-up of HOLZ-HANDWERK?
It is difficult to define my favourite tasks in the preparation and follow-up phase because the work is a flow of interconnecting and mutually enriching tasks. Perhaps it is this flow that makes the tasks so pleasant and exciting at the same time.
But if I had to give concrete examples, I really like the cooperation with the team, with Dominic Perez, who accompanies and supports our work in the Czech Republic as the international representative. I really like the first contact with the customers after the one-year break in the preparation phase. Some of our customers have been with us for years, and in the meantime, we have developed a very friendly relationship with many of them.
And for the follow-up phase? As we live in our industry: After the trade show is before the trade show. That's why good follow-up is always good preparation for the next event.
What do you find most exciting about the window manufacturing/woodworking industry?
Wood is a wonderful material that accompanies us in almost every step of our everyday life. Therefore, it is particularly interesting to dive into the secrets of the woodworking industry and learn more about how the production processes work.
I particularly enjoy travelling to this country for work: Germany
A fun fact about myself: I have danced on stage at a carnival show before.
My personal motto in life and at work: Live everyday as if it were your last.
